Fur & Feathers, Animal Heroes of WW1 A multi-discipline, multi-venue exhibit honoring the animals that served 2017 marks the 100 year anniversary of the U.S. involvement in WW1. In response to the Arkansas Department of Heritage, Heritage Month, you are invited to join Chugach Arts Council to remember the service and sacrifice of thousands of animals. A month long exhibit at the Vada Sheid Gallery at ASU Mountain Home, is the centerpiece of a year of events and activities throughout Baxter, Marion and Boone Counties as well as across the region. Artists from around the country have submitted art and vintage photos, post cards, posters and more for the month long exhibit at the Sheid. An opening reception will be held on May 11 from 4-6 pm.
